AMR Awareness Seminar at USTC, Chittagong
Bangladesh Young Pharmacist Group successfully organized an Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Awareness Seminar 2024 at University of Science and Technology Chittagong.
The seminar focused on strategies to combat antimicrobial resistance and highlighted the vital role of young pharmacists in raising awareness and addressing this global health challenge.
Distinguished guests included Prof. Dr. Md. Sohel Rana (Jahangirnagar University), Prof. Dr. Md. Hassan Kawsar (State University of Bangladesh), Md. Abdul Motaleb Bhuiyan (USTC), Dr. Aninda Kumar Nath (USTC), and Nahria Amin Nusrat (Apollo Imperial Hospital).
During the closing session, BYPG President Redwan Hossain emphasized the importance of AMR awareness and encouraged young pharmacists to take an active role in educating communities. He also expressed appreciation for the contributions of USTC members and shared BYPG's interest in future collaborations.
The event was supported by BYPG team members, including Swakshar Mukherjee and Syed Zidan, and was organized in collaboration with Vennue Foundation.
