AMR Awareness Survey at Dhaka
As part of Antibiotic Resistance Awareness Week, members of the Bangladesh Young Pharmacist Group conducted awareness campaigns and surveys across multiple areas of Dhaka, including Mirpur, Bashundhara, Rampura, Banasree, and Azimpur.
These initiatives aimed to raise public awareness about antibiotic resistance and promote the responsible use of antibiotics in both general and model pharmacies.
Approximately 25 BYPG members actively participated in this team-based survey program. Collectively, they covered over 200+ chemist shops, 20+ model pharmacies, and 10+ hospitals, making the campaign highly impactful.
The campaign was generously supported by Vennue Foundation, ensuring its successful implementation.
