Hospital Pharmacist Integration in Bangladesh

A stakeholder consultation meeting titled "The Role and Recruitment of Graduate Pharmacists in Hospital Healthcare Services" was successfully organized by the Pharmacy Council of Bangladesh.

The event was honored by Professor Dr. Md. Sayedur Rahman as the Chief Guest, Honorable Special Assistant (with the rank of State Minister), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Special Guests included Mr. Md. Saidur Rahman, Secretary, Health Services Division & President, Pharmacy Council of Bangladesh, and Professor Dr. Choudhury Mahmood Hasan, Vice President, Pharmacy Council of Bangladesh.

The session was chaired by Mr. Md. Naser Shahriar Zahedi, President, Hospital Pharmacy Committee, Pharmacy Council of Bangladesh.

The meeting focused on ensuring the proper integration of A-category pharmacists into hospital healthcare services and strengthening professional pharmacy practices in Bangladesh.

Representatives from the Bangladesh Young Pharmacist Group also actively participated, reflecting their commitment to advancing the pharmacy profession.
